Tucson Adult Entertainment: The Tiger In The Woods

MERICANS have been both lachrymose and hypocritical about the private life of Tiger Woods, and now they have forced the golfing genius to lay down his club, as he proceeds on an indefinite leave to sort out his family matters and be a better husband to Elin Nordegren and their two children. It is like the Clinton saga all over again. And very much like that Governor in New York, Eliot Spitzer, who bedded prostitutes, except that in this case Tiger used his own money and time. In all instances, America’s moral police doesn’t spare blood in reminding everyone of how the mighty has fallen. Tiger Woods’s case is made worse by the black blood in his veins. I imagine White America sniggering: “what do you expect? The man has black blood. It doesn’t matter what those guys achieve in any field of human endeavour; their real brain is somewhere else.” Such racist assertions do not match the facts.

Tucson Adult Entertainment: Tiger … good for the Tour?

Tiger … good for the Tour?
As the resident golf “expert” here, people are constantly asking for my opinion on Eldrick Woods and his descent into the pages of US Weekly.
Am I surprised? (No.) Did I know anything before it all broke? (No.) Do I think sketches about the PGA Tour now being sponsored by the letter “Q” are funny? (Absolutely.)
The only thing that shocked me was when the Perkins waitress came forward. I can see the plastic semi-prostitute eyeing a reality show. Lady serving my hashbrowns? Totally blindsided me.
Anyway, I’m not really interested in the dirty details of Tiger’s sex life or how he goes about repairing his family. I’m much more intrigued by how the scandal affects golf as a whole.
Surprisingly, I think it will be a net positive. (No, I am not drunk.)

Tucson Adult Entertainment: Corporate backers abandon Tiger Woods

Gillette will remove Woods from TV and print advertising, from public appearances and other media linking the two entities together, Gillette spokesman Damon Jones said.
Nike, his biggest financial backer with a deal estimated at $US40 million ($A43.63 million), has so far stood firm, the sports merchandise giant saying it looked forward to his return to golf and wishing him and his family well.
The golfer, 33, admitted on his website on Friday night that he had been unfaithful to his wife, Elin Nordegren. ”I want to say again to everyone that I am profoundly sorry and that I ask forgiveness,” he said. ”It may not be possible to repair the damage I’ve done, but I want to do my best to try.”
Woods has been linked with up to 13 women, including cocktail waitresses, former porn actresses and prostitutes.

Tucson Adult Entertainment: Sunday’s poll: When will Tiger Woods return to the PGA Tour?

… Night Club Hostess”? What the heck is that? These girls, with the possible exception of the IHOP waitress, were all call girls. When was the last time anybody saw Tiger hanging out in a bar or a nightclub? His modus operendi was to call ahead to every town in which he was playing a tournament, week after week, & hire these girls out of the escort services & other shady businesses. No doubt about it.

He didn’t just cheat with one woman….he cheated with several and they were all call girl types. Is this the example he wants his children to follow? Will his daughter think it’s alright to be a tramp and will his son think it’s perfectly fine to cheat when he’s a man? Elin, it’s not just 1 girl it’s at least 10. Take your kids and some dignity and leave the self-centered guy. Did he consider you when he was in bed with …

Tucson Adult Entertainment: Sponsors ditching Tiger Woods ads

AT&T says it is “evaluating” its six-year relationship with one of the world’s most recognizable men, and Swiss watchmaker Tag Heuer is no longer showing photos of Woods wearing its watches in Australian stores.
Woods’ corporate sponsors are at a crossroads, said Celebrity Marketing Inc. President Cleon Daskalakis.
Two weeks into a jaw-dropping sex scandal, “they know they need to downplay the relationship, but they also know he could return to where he was,” Daskalakis said.
“So you don’t want to walk away from him now, then have to compete against him, or try and re-sign him in a few years,” he added.
Woods was once an international icon of discipline, drive and God-given talent.
But after a bizarre, early-morning car crash, reportedly fueled by a wife who discovered his philandering ways, his squeaky-clean, good-guy image has taken a world-wide pounding.
Prostitutes and porn stars have been commandeering the headlines with their own tales of a tomcatting Tiger.

Tucson Adult Entertainment: Ex-schools chief pleads guilty to child-sex, porn charges

He was indicted in June on the travel charge, and in October a superseding indictment added eight counts of possession of child pornography after more than 200 images were found in Rogers’ home after he was arrested, court records show.
Rogers, who was also a teacher and associate principal at the district’s Emily Gray Junior High School, was hired by Tanque Verde in April 2007. He resigned from the district on June 23.
Rogers also unsuccessfully ran for Pima County school superintendent in 2008.
According to court records, Rogers had flown to Yuma to embark on a child-sex tour in Mexico that he had begun arranging online with undercover federal agents in December.
Using the screen name of “rawbear,” Rogers contacted an online child-sex tourism business and had them e-mail him a tour reservation application, which he sent back in early February along with a check for $50 that was to serve as a reservation deposit, court records show.
