TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) – Tucson police are holding a man in connection with a shooting last night at an east side strip club.
Police arrested 29-year-old Jaime Jose Cazares.
He was previously wanted in connection with an aggravated assault/domestic violence incident in which he used a weapon.
Charges from last night’s incident at Ten’s Showclub include discharging a firearm in the city, unlawful flight from pursuing law enforcement, aggravated assault and weapons misconduct.
Police say the shooting stemmed from a fight inside the club.
Cazares allegedly obtained a gun from his car and fired five to ten times at a group of men.
Cazares fled and police pursued him for 26 minutes before police disabled his car with spike strips south of the city. He was taken into custody without incident.
