Driver suspected in fight, shooting at Speedway club

A fight inside a midtown strip club early Friday led to a high-speed pursuit during which police chased a driver across town at speeds exceeding 100 mph.
Officers eventually arrested 29-year-old Jaime Jose Cazares near West Valencia and South Headley roads, on the southwest side, at 12:54 a.m., 26 minutes after they began chasing him as he left the parking lot of Ten’s Showclub, 5120 E. Speed- way.
“That’s an eternity in a police pursuit,” Tucson Police Department spokesman Fabian Pacheco said. “Typical pursuits last less than a minute.”
Pacheco gave the following account:
At 12:26 a.m., police responded to a call of shots fired at Ten’s, near Speedway and North Rosemont Boulevard.
