Tucson Strip Clubs: Police accuse pair in death of tot
A mother and her live-in friend were arrested Saturday in connection with the death of her 1-year-old son.
Police responded to a call last Wednesday about a child in respiratory arrest at a north-side home in the 100 block of East Kelso Street, near East Grant Road and North First Avenue, a Tucson Police Department release said. Police were told that Brett Dillon, 1, fell into a bathtub and hit his head.
The boy was taken to University Medical Center, where it was found that he suffered from massive closed head trauma.
He died two days later from the injuries, police said on Sunday.
TPD’s Dependent Child Unit investigated the incident and determined the child was in the care of Ryan Fitzgerald Sullivan, 32, while his mother, Melissa Julie Bizilia, 20, was at work.
On her online MySpace page, Bizilia lists her occupation as a stripper.
